I'm experienced in developing content for clients that communicates their unique voice and brand values in a way that engages and excites audiences. Always fresh and never generic, my mission is to discover what differentiates each brand from its competitors and how they're uniquely equipped to deliver what their audience is after.​

Brand Introduction

This content marketing piece was for the retail brand melin, a high-end headwear company. They wanted to introduce their brand to the promotional products space but needed their content to speak to their premium quality and price point to ensure they reached the correct audience who could afford their product. I wrote for and directed on this project for a result that aligned with their company branding, clearly communicated their prestigious appeal, justified the investment required and educated readers on how their product could be leveraged by brands who share their values of quality, innovation and adventure.

Interactive Infographic

For this content marketing project, I worked with a full-color printing company that wanted to educate readers on the many opportunities to sell their services to businesses in the local area. To accomplish this goal, I recommended creating a "roadmap" infographic to help readers visualize this potential for themselves. When readers clicked on each business on the infographic, they could access further information about how to sell to each industry. I researched, wrote and provided creative direction on this project that our skilled design team brought to life with a final result that was inviting, interactive and informative. Best of all? This infographic campaign exceeded this client's typical performance metrics, receiving a 52% increase in generated leads.

Company History

This content marketing project was for a client with a proud history of offering products made in the USA from Minnesota. They felt their previous branding didn't capture their heritage and personality, so they enlisted my help to develop branded content that better aligned with these values. Collaborating with the client and our talented design team, I provided copy featuring their favorite regional idioms and recommended visual references that highlighted their Minnesotan pride. While the campaign performing well was great to see, the real success was the client's enthusiastic response. They have since adopted this new brand direction company-wide, particularly their beloved lumberjack mascot, now affectionately named Olé.
